Welcome to M.S. Castillo Farm & Trading
In 1995, Many Castillo started out his quail business with a meager five hundred pesos in his pocket, his owner-type jeepney used as delivery service, and his unwavering deligence. Thirteen years later, he became one of the country's top producers and traders of quail produce.
Unlike other farm owner and traders, Manny was not born with a long-time succesful business he had carry on. With zero knowledge in animal production technologies and only sheer hard work, persistence, and modesty with him, Manny had to work his way up from being an automotive mechanic, electrician, and finally an assistant foreman in ARMSCOR, a gun manufacturing shop. At that last job, he finally stumbled upon the idea of trading quail eggs to earn additional income for his family.
With his new found "sideline" Manny had to work from morning to afternoon just to manage the demands of his current job as foreman and his quail egg trading business. This meant less time spent at home with his family. But his sacrifices soon paid off as he saved enough extra money to buy Ford Fierra vehicle which he could use for his trading business and replace the old broken down owner-type jeepney.
In 1996, Manny decided to resign from his job focus on his quail egg business. With P100,000 capital, which he partly saved and loaned from the bank, he expanded his trading business and started his own quail farm near their house in Sitio Ibaba, Brgy. Pinagbarilan, Baliuag, Bulacan.
